Chalet Belle Source A...
Once the oldest hotel in Saint-Nicolas-la Chapelle, Chalet Belle Source A and the neighbouring apartment, Chalet Belle Source B, are the result of a careful renovation. Built in 1810, this historic building boasts the charming original façade, a central location and exceptional views of the valley.
The villages of Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle and Flumet (2km away) provide easy access to the Espace Diamant, Val d'Arly and Portes du Mont-Blanc ski areas. The elegant resort of Megève is only 12km away.
Outside the ski season, the charming lake in Flumet (2.4km) is the ideal place to swim or relax with a picnic. With a playground, skatepark, multi-sports ground and café, it has everything you need for a great family day out.
There are several restaurants to choose from in the two villages, as well as shops offering everything you need for your stay. Flumet has a small supermarket and a delicatessen, and there are large supermarkets in Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe (6km) and Praz-sur-Arly (7km).

Chalet Belle Source A is a single-storey apartment for eight guests, with three bedrooms and two shower rooms.
One of the property’s highlights is the large, furnished terrace, which has a comfortable seating area, a dining table for eight, and a Nordic bath. There is also a small sloping garden.
One of the bedrooms has two beds in 120 while another includes a bed in 120 and bunk beds. The final room has a double bed, a desk and doors to the terrace. All of the bedrooms have televisions.
The elegant open-plan living room combines a comfortable lounge with sofas around the fireplace and television, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob and a breakfast bar.
There are also two shower rooms, one of which includes a toilet, plus an additional separate toilet.
Two vehicles can be parked outside the chalet, and a pétanque court is available across the street.
About the area…
Guests staying at Chalet Belle Source A in the winter will enjoy easy access to numerous ski slopes. The Flumet/Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle resort is part of the Val d’Arly ski area, which has 90km of slopes.
A free shuttle bus takes you to Les Évettes, part of the Espace Diamant ski area (192km of pistes). The Espace Diamant ski pass also includes Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe and Crest-Voland/Cohennoz. Those looking for more variety should head to Megève (12km), and to the vast Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, where you can explore 479km of slopes.
There is just as much to see and do outside the ski season: wonderful landscapes to explore on foot or by bike, remarkable Baroque architecture and great places to relax, such as the Flumet lake leisure centre – a memorable day out with the family.
Walkers can enjoy a gentle stroll along the banks of the Arrondine river. If you're seeking a more strenuous hike, head for the heights and tackle the 18.5km route that takes in the three peaks of Flumet. In summer, cyclists can take their bikes on the free shuttle bus that serves the Val d'Arly area. The region is renowned for its mountain passes and winding roads, which often feature in the Tour de France.

“A lovely flat in a prime location”
As we drove through the village of Flumet, the holiday feeling only intensified. Arriving at the apartment, you truly see what a beautiful setting it is located in. The apartment itself is perfect. Everything you look for in a luxurious apartment with a cozy touch. It is warmly decorated; in fact, it's absolutely spot on.
A cup of coffee with breakfast on the large terrace with mountain views makes you never want to leave.
In the area, there's plenty to do for both active hikers or bikers and families with small children who want to swim.
After a day of activities, enjoy the late sun on the deck or the wonderfully warm night in the hot tub!

“What a beautiful flat!”
Truly equipped with every convenience. Nothing is lacking. In addition, everything is very luxurious and cosily furnished. And there is a huge, lovely terrace with a beautiful large dining table and comfortable lounge sofas. And a fantastic view. We will definitely be back!

From our family to yours, welcome to Belle Source!
When we first stumbled upon Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, it felt like discovering a hidden gem. As a Dutch family with four daughters, we dreamed of creating a mountain home that felt like a warm embrace – a place where we could unwind, reconnect, and make memories that would last a lifetime.
That dream became Belle Source, named after the spring that flows onto our terrace.
Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, nestled in the heart of the Savoie, is our peaceful escape. It’s close to amazing ski resorts and stunning Mont Blanc, but far enough away to feel authentic and calm.
In winter, you'll find us skiing, sledging, and exploring the snowy trails. Summer brings hiking through beautiful alpine meadows, cycling those famous Tour de France routes, and lazy afternoons by the lake in Flumet.
And the restaurants are so close you don't need a car!
At our chalet, life is slower.
You can relax in the hot tub under the stars, cook up a storm on the OFYR outdoor grill, or just enjoy a movie by the fire.
Our terrace, with its views of the valley and the church, is where we love to have our morning coffee or dinner, and listen to the cowbells from the mountains.
Every season feels magical here – from winter nights under a sky full of stars to summer days spent picking blueberries. Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle is more than just a place for us; it's a way of life that brings us closer together.
